CORT Celebrates Grand Opening of Miami Showroom

New Biscayne Blvd. showroom to open with Brazilian-themed VIP event

FAIRFAX, VA (May 24, 2011) CORT, a Berkshire Hathaway company and the nation’s leading furniture rental provider, today announced a new store opening in Miami. The Brazilian-theme opening celebration will take place on Thursday, May 26 at 7:30 p.m. and will showcase CORT’s high-end, modern furnishings and accessories.

The invitation-only opening event will feature Carnival de Rio style decorations, music and Rodizio-style food. Attendees will learn more about CORT’s rental furniture, relocation service solutions and trade show and event furnishings.

“We are excited to expand our presence in the Miami area by opening this showroom to better serve our customers,” said Janine Pringle, sales manager for CORT. “This ceremony will celebrate the store opening and CORT’s upscale variety of product and service offerings.”

This rental showroom is located in Miami at 2200 Biscayne Blvd., Suite 100 and is open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. CORT has more than 100 showrooms nationwide, serving as a resource for home stagers, companies, investors and individuals in transition.

“Our entire south Florida CORT team is thrilled about this beautiful showroom,” said Terry Carpenter, district general manager for CORT in south Florida. “It will be a great resource for any company or individual who wants to maintain an up-scale image while also controlling costs.”

The grand opening will also feature a giveaway for a trip for two to Rio De Janeiro. Guests will receive one giveaway entry ticket for each qualified furniture referral they provide. The winner will be drawn at 9 p.m. at the opening celebration.
