CORT Expands National Rental Relocation Team

FAIRFAX, VA (February 25, 2008) - CORT announces the addition of two industry veterans to its growing Rental Relocation Services team.

August "Augie" Alifante joined CORT in February as a new national relocation account executive for the greater New York City metropolitan area. In December, Gloria Newman joined CORT as the director of Rental Relocation Services.

Since the launch of CORT's rental relocation services a year ago, the company is providing services for more than 500 companies to support domestic and international employee relocations and temporary assignments, and interest continues to grow rapidly.

Alifante brings over 20 years combined experience in the relocation services and airline industries to his position at CORT. Alifante is the recipient of the Meritorious Service Award from the Employee Relocation Council and has earned the organization's prestigious CRP (Certified Relocation Professional) designation. He is a national speaker, author for corporate relocation, and named in "Who's Who in Corporate Relocation."

Newman brings a vast amount of experience in the relocation industry to her new role at CORT. During the past four years, she has served as senior vice president of consulting and strategic alliances for GMAC Home Services. Prior to that, she oversaw the relocation program for Sears, and she directed the Central and Western U.S. operations for Cendant Mobility. In her new role at CORT, Newman is applying her strategic and operating experience to enhance CORT's rental relocation business and expand services to customers.
